Rick Harper | Senior Art Director / Principal

All his life, Art and Media has been the leading passion and driving force behind Richard Harper's career. In the 80's he used to hand splice video and audio cassettes to edit his own home movies, but when the local cable market exploded in the early 90's he produced full length broadcast shows for local production companies. His love of news led him to work with 1010 Wins Newsradio and worked as a local cable news reporter.

His experience with Interlink Productions, NY gave him exposure to producing corporate videos which included world-wide travel and award-winning products. His 5 year stint at Lorne Michael's owned Broadway Video was a chief milestone since it gave Richard the opportunity to produce content for leading entertainment companies and networks such as HBO, Showtime, Martha Stewart Living, Conan OBrien, Saturday Night Live, Macys 4th of July Spectacular, NBC, CBS, Nickelodeon, ESPN, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, Oxygen, ABC, MSNBC and PBS among others.

Mr. Harper's collaboration with Ralph Modica to form Phase 1 Digital in July 2005 was and is the most rewarding and creative experience of a lifetime. He's proud of the broad base of companies seeking out his talent which ranges from producing multi-tiered media projects to hands-on graphics and advertising campaigns. He is sought after for his inventive and professional polished designs by companies who trust him to deliver their message in a unique way. His work is published in The New York Times, Time Out New York, The Advocate, Instinct, HX, Next and Go Magazine.

In addition, he has volunteered with the media ministry at The Marble Collegiate Church since 2000.
